Sanjiv has deep interest in the domains of natural science, health, emotions, cognitive sciences and consciousness. This has led him to a journey over the last few years for the purpose of discovering deeper facets in these areas. He has dedicated his efforts towards developing an integrated understanding of the science and art of cognition, emotions and consciousness and has filed a patent in the area of modelling a temporal-special framework of emotional states.
From the tender age of eleven Sanjiv was intrigued about the mysteries of life. At some point he let go of this quest to engage with life as experienced through learning, working, and building a family.
At the age of 36, the comfortable life that had been carefully built till then met with a rude end. His brother got imprisoned, propelling him from the otherwise easygoing lifestyle into emotional turmoil, confronting the darker facets of the establishment.
This turbulent period went on for four years only to be ended by the untimely demise of his loving father’s. It was then, aged 42 that it all came crashing down. Choosing to disengage with the world, including his career and some of his own familial ties, he plunged into the deep abyss of his darkest feelings.
Exploring his inner space, spending days on end, year after year, the many insights on life started to reveal themselves. In the process, he experienced life’s patterns, purpose and the awe-inspiring role that emotions played in fulfilment.
From then on, realising the impact of emotions on maximising human potential, he dived into an integrated understanding of his many varied interests in natural sciences, holistic health, cognitive sciences and consciousness. These efforts led to unraveling a temporal- spatial framework of emotional states and creating two offerings, viz. ‘Sambhavba’ and ‘Samai’ to share these insights.
Recognising that emotional wisdom is only valued when it is able to deliver tangible benefits, ‘Sambhavna’ was conceptualised to bring the magic of emotions in the three fields of learning, relating and organizing. Through an experiential learning workshop, participants can experience the tangible effects of emotions in the fields of education, interpersonal relationships and organisations.
But of course, achieving emotional maturity is not possible just by attending workshop. Realizing this, to facilitate sustainable awareness, he also developed a mobile offering called Samai.
Samai, conceptualized as a personal guide for embracing emotions, is a name from the Devnagri script whose temporal flow is analogous to feelings.
